       Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is a connective tissue disease that is characterize by involvement of many organs. Although the disease was considered to be extremely rare in the past. The disease is characterize by marked and varied immunologic abnormalities, including a variety of auto antibodies that participate in immunologically mediated tissue injury the cause of the disease has not been established, although recent attention has turned to genetic factor and the possibility of a viral etiology.             

              This case report is presented for the sole purpose of reviewing the pathophysiology, epidemiology, clinical manifestations, treatment and management.

    This case report was presented to review the literature on systemic lupus erythtemetosus - its pathogenesis, diagnosis clinical course, treatment and prognosis.
