Objectives

The study aims to 1) compare the anti-hypertensive effect of Nifedipine with hydralazine in decreasing the diastolic BP from the baseline to 90 mm Hg; 2) evaluate the efficacy and safety of Nifedipine in the management of severe preeclampsia basing on how fast is its onset of action and for how long; 3) presence or absence of tachycardia.
