Phase I activities (i.e.(1) Sampling which includes anthropometric measurements, physical exams, blood collection and skin testing, (2)Assesment of nutritional states and grouping, and (3)Immunological laboratory determination) were done on 50 pre-school children from Pook Ricarte, a community near U.P. Diliman, Q.C.. The follow-up of diarrheal incidence (Phase II) is presently on-going.
