Study of Philippine common allergenic pollen grains: Atmospheric pollen counts in Cebu City.

Abstract

Atmospheric pollen counts using Durham gravity slide sampler was done in Cebu City for one year (1987).The total count of pollens for one year is 616 while fern spore count is 112.The five most abundant pollen growth are grasses (Gramineae), Manila palm (Veitchia merrillii), mulberry (Morus alba), agojo (Casuarina equisetifolia) and nangka/jackfruit (Artocarpus heterophyllus).
