Abstract

The use of the nasolabial flap to reconstruct defects in the floor of the mouth has been previously described as an axial flap and done in a two-stage procedure. This paper focuses on a modification of the usual procedure using the nasolabial flap as a random flap done in a one-stage procedure. The advantages of this modification are discussed.
