Specifically, it sought to determine the level of adherence of senior citizens to healthy lifestyle practices in terms of Physical activities, Nutrition, Health Promotion Practices and the difference in level of adherence of senior citizens to healthy lifestyle practices according to: age, sex, civil status, ethnic origin.

The study was conducted in La Trinidad, Benguet last November, 2014 to February, 2015 with 80 respondents from the Barangays of Alapang, Buyagan, Bahong, Pico, Puguis, Tawang, Balili and Shilan. The quantitative descriptive research method was used with the questionnaire as the data gathering instrument used. Moreover, the statistical methods used were weighted mean, t-test and f-test. Based on the results taken, it was revealed that the level of adherence of senior citizens in La Trinidad, Benguet on Healthy Lifestyle practices in terms of physical activities, nutrition and health promotion practices is moderate which means that they perform the healthy lifestyle practices one to two times a week or they do not practice it consistently. Age, Sex and Civil Status do not affect the level of adherence to healthy lifestyle practices of senior citizens in La Trinidad while ethnic origin affects their level of adherence. Lowlanders are more adherent to healthy life style practices compared to highlanders.

Based on the findings, it is recommended that social support for senior citizens should always be observed or implemented for it greatly affects their adherence to healthy lifestyle. Senior Citizens should be further taught of occupational exercises; healthy lifestyle should be one of the goals of senior citizen organizations. Moreover, there should be more respondents to validate the comparison of their demographic profiles such as age, sex, civil status, and ethnic origin. Finally, similar studies in relation to this study should be made exploring other variables.
