A seminar-workshop  was conducted to determine respondent's level of awareness and readiness on disaster risk reduction management (DRRM). Prior to the workshop, respondents were asked to fill out a questionnaire. Results revealed that persons with disability (PWD) and senior citizens were not aware, and did not know what to do if certain calamities or disasters will occur. Respondents who have PWDs in the family were very aware, and moderately ready while respondents with a senior citizen family member were moderately aware, and slightly ready for an impending calamity. After the seminar-workshop, PWDs, senior citizens and their families were very aware, moderately ready to prepare for and respond to an incoming disaster. Respondent's  level of awareness and readiness on DRRM was significantly improved after the seminar. However, there is no correlation ween the level of awareness and readiness of the respondents and their demographic profile. The local government unit must be informed about the results of the study so that they can make an appropriate action.
