Objectives

Specific Objectives:


1. To determine the demographic profile of patients with old unreduced posterior elbow dislocation that could be a factor affecting the short term elbow functional and clinical outcome after treated with open reduction and long arm posterior splint.


2. To determine the short term clinical outcome of adult patients with old unreduced posterior elbow dislocation treated with open reduction and long arm posterior splinting as to:


  a. presence or absence of pain during elbow range of motion


  b. postoperative elbow range of motion


  c. elbow stability


  d. ability to perform certain activities of daily living
