Effects of multimedia exposure to vital health indicators.

Previous studies have mentioned the beneficial effects of multimedia to the well-being of patients in and out of the hospital setting. The present study aspired to empirically assess the effects of an audio-video presentation to vital signs of a normal individual, specifically the HR, RR and BP. The research was conducted at a famous university in the Philippines. It involved ten (10) purposively selected respondents. A quantitative quasi-experimental design was employed to gather accurate data of the vital signs of the subjects. Data are statistically analyzed using ANOVA, t test, z test through the latest IBMSPSS software. Result of the study is envisioned to provide new knowledge in the field of multimedia therapy and the nursing profession
